An old dream of Father Eustáquio is once again being realized through the Padre Eustáquio Social Action program. From now on, 80 children will be cared for by the second daycare center dedicated to him. The center is located in the Coqueiros neighborhood, also in the Northwest region of Belo Horizonte.
The institution was conceived after an attempt to expand the existing unit in the Padre Eustáquio neighborhood. Since the area lacked demand for even younger children, the idea arose to establish a second daycare center in Coqueiros, a neighborhood with a significant shortage of available spaces.
To establish the Unit, the Padre Eustáquio Social Action rented a property belonging to the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts and began adaptation work at the beginning of last year. However, the licensing process was interrupted by the pandemic. In July, when establishments reopened for the first time, the work resumed. But authorization to begin classes was only granted this year.

Twenty employees were hired to work at the unit.
The new students arrive at the new daycare center.
The daycare center will cater to children from nursery to preschool age 3, meaning children from zero to three years old. Initially, due to the pandemic and the need for social distancing, the institution will receive 80 boys and girls, who are being divided into shifts, 40 in the morning and 40 in the afternoon. After the pandemic, the center may be able to accommodate approximately 100 children full-time.
The new unit, which will employ 20 people, was only made possible thanks to the support and donations of the entire community and, especially, the devotees of Blessed Father Eustace.
