The Superior General of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, Alberto Toutun, visited the construction site of the new Blessed Eustace College in Kinshasa, Congo, earlier this month. The visit was part of a meeting of professed brothers in the Mikondo community, held in the African country. The theme of the meeting was "Caring for our brothers".
In addition to Alberto Toutun, ss.cc, members of both General Governments participated in the visit: Jean Blaise Mwanda (on a canonical visit to his brothers and sisters in Africa) and Goyi Marín and Claudia Margarita Orozco (on a fraternal and formative visit to the sisters of the Delegation).
After the meeting, there was a celebration of the Eucharist presided over by Alberto Toutin. At the end of the meeting, there was a time for fellowship among those present. In total, nine professed brothers and six professed sisters participated.
