Father Eustáquio was a man who knew how to recognize and respond to God's call in his life. In his words, he reminds us: “God calls you. Yes, brothers, He calls, in various circumstances and in various ways, each and every one of us.” This statement invites us to reflect on the call we receive from God and how we can live a meaningful life based on that call.
Father Eustáquio dedicated his life to God's work and service to his brothers and sisters, especially those who were sick and in need of care. He was a living example of love and compassion, placing his gifts and talents at the service of others.
Just like Father Eustace, each of us also receives a unique calling from God. This calling can manifest itself in different circumstances and in different ways. It may be a calling to a specific profession, to community service, to caring for the needy, or to a greater purpose in life.
Looking at the life of Father Eustace, we are inspired to persevere in our purpose and live our calling with dedication and commitment. Like him, we can find fulfillment and satisfaction by putting our gifts and talents at the service of others and by following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Living out our calling means listening to God's voice in our hearts, being attentive to the opportunities that arise in our path, and having the courage to say yes to what He asks of us. It also means persevering even in the face of difficulties and challenges, trusting that God empowers and guides us every step of the way.
May the life of Father Eustace inspire us to embrace our calling, to persevere in our purpose, and to live a life of meaning and fulfillment. May we hear the voice of God calling us in different circumstances and in different ways, and may we have the courage to respond with generosity and love.
