This year, devotees of Blessed Father Eustáquio commemorate 80 years of devotion to the religious figure, who died on August 30, 1943. In Belo Horizonte, at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Father Eustáquio, the festivities begin next Saturday.

The program includes masses, adorations, rosaries, artistic and cultural presentations. On the 19th, the festival will open with a show by the Singers of God. From the 21st to the 29th, the faithful are invited to pray the novena. And, on August 30th, the liturgical date dedicated to the Blessed, masses will be celebrated every two hours in honor of the Dutch priest.
