The resin image of Blessed Father Eustace was enthroned at the headquarters of the Ladies of Charity of the Sacred Hearts, attached to the church. The enthronement rite was performed by the newly ordained Deacon Vanildo Lima Sena, ss.cc.

Upon completing 72 years of existence, one of the social works inspired by Father Eustáquio, the Ladies of Charity celebrated with much gratitude and prayer this past Sunday (19). The Holy Mass, presided over by the rector of the Sanctuary, Father Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc, was also celebrated in Thanksgiving for the seven decades of service of this movement.

During the celebration of the Eucharist, the current members of the group were introduced to the community, and three new volunteers also joined the Ladies' group. After Holy Mass, the devotees went in procession to the headquarters of the Ladies' Order, on Castigliano Street, where the rite of enthronement of the image of Father Eustáquio took place. Deacon Vanildo officiated the rites and gave the blessing. The image belonged to the chapel of the Santos Dumont Housing Complex, the largest in the western region of Belo Horizonte, located in the Padre Eustáquio neighborhood. The space in the complex ceased to be a chapel, and the image was given to the Sanctuary, which gave the statue a new purpose.
