The Parish of Saint Damien of Molokai, in Patrocínio/MG, received two new missionaries of the Sacred Hearts, the brothers: Francisco Gleison, (born in Ceará) and Samuel Silveiro, from Paraguay.

The brothers are currently undergoing preparation for their perpetual vows and ordained ministries in the second half of 2021, and were sent to the city in Minas Gerais to deepen their pastoral practice and spiritual life. Brother Gleison had been at the São Miguel Parish in Catuji/MG since the beginning of the year, while Brother Samuel, from Paraguay, served the parish community of Nossa Senhora do Desterro in the Campo Grande neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro.

The São Damião de Molokai Parish, which has just received these brothers, belongs to the Diocese of Patos de Minas and has Father Luis Antônio as its parish priest. Father Antônio Lemos and Brother Vitor Borges are also working there in pastoral roles.
