The Saint Joseph Chapel, located in one of the naves of the Health and Peace Sanctuary, the church of Father Eustáquio, has been restored. There is now an altar dedicated exclusively to the Saint. The restoration did not require any construction work, only the rearrangement of some images that were previously displayed in the chapel.
From the laying of the church's foundation stone, Father Eustáquio had dreamed of building an internal chapel for Saint Joseph. When the church was built, the space was then designated for this purpose. However, over time, the essence of the Saint Joseph Chapel was lost.
The change is part of a process of reclaiming the roots of the Health and Peace Sanctuary. This is because, before he died, Blessed Father Eustace left writings detailing how he wanted the church to be built.
