Brazil has surpassed the mark of 300 lives lost to the Coronavirus and is currently experiencing its worst moment since the beginning of the pandemic. Yesterday alone, March 24th, 90,504 new cases of the disease were diagnosed and 2,244 deaths were reported. Vaccination has already begun, but the number of people vaccinated is still too small to alleviate this situation.
As a community, we have a duty to care for ourselves and others. Maintain all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the disease. Avoid leaving home unless necessary; when you do go out, wear a mask and always sanitize your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer. We will get through this, but everyone's cooperation is needed.
We stand in solidarity with all those who have lost acquaintances, friends, and family members to this terrible disease, and with those who are currently in hospital beds and ICUs seeking recovery. May God, through the intercession of Blessed Father Eustace, bring a breath of life and faith to each of them.
Let us pray together for health and peace during this devastating time.
“"Oh Jesus, by the blood you shed, and by the tears of your most holy mother.".
"Give sight to the blind, walking to the lame, health to the sick, and peace to all who suffer and are in pain."”
