Singers of God open the 2023 Feast of Blessed Father Eustace

The group Cantores de Deus, conceived by Father Zezinho, opened the celebrations for the day of Blessed Father Eustáquio. In the year in which the faithful commemorate 80 years of devotion to the Blessed, the band's vocalists moved the audience inside the church.

Andréia Zanardi, Dalva Tenório, and Karla Fioravante sang traditional songs, revisiting career hits, leading moments of reflection and prayer, and taking many people back to their catechism days. Watch the performance again. HERE

Among the songs in the repertoire were great hits from the group and Father Zezinho, such as Maria de Minha Infância (Mary of My Childhood), Oração pela Família (Prayer for the Family), Eu vim de lá do Interior (I Came from the Countryside), and Só Tú tens o poder (Only You Have the Power). The group also sang songs by other Catholic singers such as Eliana Ribeiro and Walmir Alencar.

At one point, Dalva Tenório called the rector, Father Vinícius Maciel, and the singer Rhaíme Ferreira. Together with the group, they sang the Supplication to Father Eustáquio, a composition by Father Lúcio Dumont Prado, SSCC, and got the audience to sing along.
