Deacon Vitor Henrique Borges, SSCC, will receive the sacrament of Holy Orders next Saturday, the 19th, at the Nossa Senhora de F\u00e1tima church \u2013 S\u00e3o Dami\u00e3o de Molokai Parish, in Patroc\u00ednio. The celebration will be presided over by the Bishop of Patos de Minas, Dom Cl\u00e1udio Nori Sturm, OFM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony in which Bishop Cl\u00e1udio will lay hands on Vitor will take place at 6 PM and will be broadcast on the Padre Eust\u00e1quio Channel on YouTube. Family, friends, and fellow members of the Congregation are expected to attend the Holy Mass in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deacon Vitor Borges, ss.cc.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Vitor Henrique Borges was born in Patroc\u00ednio, Minas Gerais (Brazil), on November 23, 1992. Son of Jo\u00e3o Silvestres Borges and Aura Alves Ara\u00fajo Borges. He joined the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts in 2014. He completed his novitiate in Peru in 2017 and professed his temporary vows in 2018. In February 2021, after completing his academic studies in Belo Horizonte, he moved to the Sacred Hearts community in Patroc\u00ednio-MG, where he professed his perpetual vows in December 2021. At the beginning of this year, he carried out his pastoral experience at the Salvador del Mundo Parish in Asunci\u00f3n (Paraguay), where he received his Diaconal Ordination.
