Among the material being restored and cataloged for the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustace, a book of donations for the costs of the Beatification and Canonization process of the Dutch priest was found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dated 1956, the book "Jewels for the Beatification and Canonization of the late Father Eust\u00e1quio van Lieshout" features on its first page a message from the then-President of Brazil, Juscelino Kubitschek. In the writing, JK affirms that the cause of the Dutch priest deserves the highest esteem in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Juscelino had great affection and friendship for Father Eust\u00e1quio. He attributed two graces received by his family to the Blessed Father: the cure of a throat problem that the politician had and his wife's pregnancy, as she had been unable to conceive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
