This Monday, May 3rd, the Padre Eust\u00e1quio Daycare Center reopened to students after being closed for a year and a month due to the Coronavirus pandemic. On the first day, 43 children were brought by their parents, even though the daily capacity is 120 students, divided into two shifts of 60 students.<\/p>\n
In the classrooms, there were a maximum of six children per group, and the educators were instructed to provide information about what daily life would be like at the daycare center.<\/p>\n
The children were received at two different times in the morning and two more times in the afternoon. Temperature checks were performed and hand sanitizer was used constantly. Sanitizing mats were also used at the entrances.<\/p>\n
The entire school has been marked out in accordance with the requirements of the municipal protocol. In classrooms and dining areas, students are kept two meters apart. Desks and tables are arranged to accommodate this distance.<\/p>\n
On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, students in the 1st and 2nd periods will be received at the daycare, while children in the preschools will have classes on Thursdays and Fridays, also divided by period. Throughout their time at the institution, the use of masks is mandatory for both students and staff, except for children in preschools 1 and 2.<\/p>\n
The idea is that, over the course of several days, parents will gain confidence in the health and safety measures offered by the daycare center and begin to bring their children to school.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
