One of the most common forms of devotion during Lent is meditation on the Stations of the Cross, or the... “"Via Crucis"”. It is based on the journey taken by Jesus, carrying the Holy Cross to Calvary.
For those devoted to Blessed Father Eustace, a Stations of the Cross has been developed with prayers and meditations of the Blessed. It's a way to experience the spirituality of this liturgical period, reliving the Passion of Christ in 15 stations, beginning with the condemnation and ending with the Resurrection of Jesus. All of this is based on texts extracted from Father Eustace's writings and homilies.
The booklet was created by the Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization and is being used at the Health and Peace Sanctuary for the Stations of the Cross meditation at 6 PM every Friday during Lent.
If you wish, you can take the Stations of the Cross with meditations by Blessed Father Eustace home and experience this moment of prayer with your family. The booklet can be purchased at the Father Eustace Store, attached to the Sanctuary. The telephone number is (31) 3567-0314.
