During Holy Mass last Friday, November 10th, Brother Vanildo Lima Sena was ordained a Deacon of the Holy Church. The ceremony was presided over by Dom Aloísio Jorge Pena Vitral, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Sete Lagoas-MG. After the homily, Dom Aloísio proceeded with the laying on of hands and the consecratory prayer, rites that characterize the visible sign of the sacrament of Holy Orders.
The ordination ceremony, scheduled for 7 pm, was held at the Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte, a place known as the Church of Blessed Father Eustáquio.

Brother Vanildo Lima Sena
Vanildo Lima Sena, SS.CC. was born in the city of Anchieta-ES, on December 12, 1992. Son of Valdemir José Sena and Marilza Machado Lima Sena, he entered the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts in 2016. He completed his novitiate in 2019 in Chaclacayo and professed his first vows on January 25, 2020, in the Chapel of Casa Anchieta in Boraceia-SP.
He completed his Theology studies in 2020 at the Jesuit Faculty. In 2021, he completed his pastoral year at the Sacred Hearts Community in Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Since 2022, he has resided in the religious community of the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, where he works pastorally. He professed his Perpetual Vows on July 27, 2023, at the São José Operário Chapel in Pindamonhangaba/SP.
