With enthusiasm and great unity, the parish community and visitors to the Sanctuary of Health and Peace participated in the Feast of the Sacred Hearts in Belo Horizonte over the past 10 days. The first week was filled with solemn celebrations, while the second week featured lots of dancing and fun.

After celebrating the solemnities of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Sacred Heart of Mary, devotees spent the week reflecting on themes related to the Sacred Hearts. Last Friday, typical foods and drinks enlivened the area outside the Sanctuary. The Jiló com Mel Quadrilha dance group performed, entertaining those present.

On Saturday, right after the 5 pm Mass, the Padre Eustáquio Youth group performed a square dance that warmed the night and the hearts of the participants. Then on Sunday, the community received the first Mass of Father Wanderson, SSCC, in the capital of Minas Gerais.

In the afternoon, thousands of people gathered in the square for the final night of the festivities. For another year, the Quadrilha Trem D'Minas dance group brought the food stalls to a close with a performance that delighted everyone.
