The spirituality of Father Eustáquio is the theme of a meeting in the Jequitinhonha Valley.

Last Saturday, November 16th, the Spirituality of Blessed Father Eustáquio was the theme of a meeting at the São Sebastião Parish, located in the municipality of Águas Vermelhas, in the Jequitinhonha Valley. Approximately 40 people participated in the “Morning of Spirituality,” which presented the life and history of the Blessed.

Led by the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization, Father Vinícius Maciel, SS.CC, the meeting highlighted the steps of Father Eustáquio and how he intensely lived his apostolate in the Netherlands, Belgium, and especially in Brazil. Those present were able to learn about the Blessed's history and deepen their prayer and pursuit of holiness.

The parish priest, Father Francisco Gleison, SS.CC, responsible for promoting the prayer and learning session, also participated in the meeting. In addition, Father Jorge Campos, SS.CC, from the Nossa Senhora do Carmo parish (in neighboring Divisa Alegre), was also present during the spiritual reflection. All are members of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts and seek to spread the life, history, and spirituality of the Blessed, making Father Eustáquio's example more widely known among Brazilians.
