On August 29, 2017, the day before celebrating the feast of Blessed Father Eustáquio, the team from the Manhã Viva program on TV Canção Nova received an image of the Blessed Father on the program's set. 'From now on we have another patron, a godfather of our program, it's Father Eustáquio!', commented the presenter, Roselaine Iria.
The gift was donated by the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization, Father Marcus Vinícius Maciel, SSCC, during the week in which the church celebrates 74 years since the death of Father Eustáquio. During a visit to the Catholic television station's studio in Belo Horizonte, Father Vinícius invited the Brazilian population to celebrate the date, asking God that another miracle be recognized so that the religious figure can be proclaimed a saint soon.
Relics of Father Eustáquio are highlighted.
Days after the celebration, more precisely on September 6th, the same program presented a segment entirely dedicated to the relics of Father Eustáquio to the whole of Brazil. The Manhã Viva team explained everything about the holy relics, using the Dutch religious figure as an example.
The program, which lasts an hour, dedicated half of its time to relics. Questions about how devotion to relics originated in the church, what types exist and are approved by the Holy See, and other issues were clarified during the show.

The Canção Nova TV program airs throughout Brazil on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 AM.
