The team from the Padre Eustáquio Store in Belo Horizonte traveled to the coast of Espírito Santo to participate in the National Meeting of Senior Citizens (Dedo de Prosa da Melhor Idade). The event is being held in Guarapari, Espírito Santo, and has approximately 1,200 participants. The vice-postulation group is participating in the meeting's activities and taking the opportunity to present various devotional materials and objects bearing the image of Blessed Father Eustáquio to the public. The idea is to spread the message of the Dutch missionary to those who do not yet know him.

Among the team members is Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC, Vice-Postulator of the Cause. He is the celebrant who leads all the prayer sessions during the Encounter.

Last Thursday, October 25, 2018, the store team received a visit from the parish priest of the Blessed Father Eustace Parish in Guarapari, Father Jacqueson Pimentel. The priest stopped by and took the opportunity to see his friends.

THE MEETING

The Dedo de Prosa National Meeting is a major event promoted by Dedo de Prosa Produções, with a varied program that includes musical performances by nationally renowned artists such as Banda Chama Chuva, Os Incríveis, Luiz Airão, Martinha, and Altemar Dutra, among others.

Each event features a combination of dances, workshops, various recreational activities, a children's train ride, a fireworks display, a craft fair, stands, and lectures, among other things. This year, the event is being held at Sesc Guarapari.
