The Padre Eustáquio Museum in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, has been undergoing additional renovations in recent days. Soon, the site will receive an elevator and air conditioning units.
The improvements were announced last week by the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of the Blessed, Father Vinícius Maciel, sscc, and are already underway.
The works, which are expected to be completed in 60 days, were only possible thanks to the generosity of the devotees and a project developed by the Padre Eustáquio Social Action and submitted to the Secretariat of Culture, which secured funding through a parliamentary amendment made by Deputy João Vitor Xavier (Cidadania).
Very soon, the community and devotees of Blessed Father Eustace will be able to enjoy the results, especially those with mobility difficulties.
The Padre Eustáquio Museum was inaugurated on August 30th of last year, the date on which the liturgical day of the Blessed is celebrated. Part of a large collection related to the Blessed is exhibited there.
