A novena to Saint Joseph, based on texts and prayers of Blessed Father Eustace, was developed especially for... Padre Eustáquio Channel on YouTube. The recordings have already taken place and the first day of the novena will be shown on our channel starting tomorrow.

The material was produced by the team of the National Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustace and recorded by the vice-postulator of the Cause, Father Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc. There will be nine days of prayers and reflections bringing us closer to Saint Joseph and the devotion that the Blessed Father had for him.

Blessed Father Eustace was very devoted to Saint Joseph and made sure to make that clear at all times. When visiting the sick, he asked for the patriarch's intercession; when giving blessings in Poá-SP, he even made small images of Saint Joseph (the famous blessed ones) to distribute to the faithful; even in Belo Horizonte, he dedicated the future main church (now the Sanctuary of Health and Peace) to the foster father of Jesus.

The novena consists of an introduction, taken from the prayer book of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts that belonged to Father Eustace. Following this, there is a short text written by the Blessed for each of the nine days. And, to conclude each day, the Prayer to Saint Joseph composed by Father Eustace.
