Known as "IAM," the Missionary Childhood and Adolescence group of the Padre Eustáquio Church has resumed weekly meetings at the Sanctuary. The group, which had been inactive due to the pandemic, is returning and inviting both former participants and new members to join the movement.
The Missionary Childhood program belongs to the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS), which operate worldwide. It consists of children and teenagers evangelizing other children and teenagers. According to one of the coordinators, Irving Alves Brunhara, the meetings are prepared by the children themselves, who lead prayers, activities, songs, and games, also participating in parish activities and helping other children who do not yet know Jesus.

At the Church of Father Eustáquio, before the pandemic, members of the Missionary Childhood group helped with masses, doing readings, participating in the offertory and singing, in addition to helping with the development of Confirmation and Catechesis courses.
The meetings take place every Thursday at 6 pm in the Molokai space, at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace. Bring your son, nephew, godson, friend, neighbor… to participate in the meetings which are filled with prayer, but also with much joy and participation.
