A beautiful June festival concluded the first semester for the two Padre Eustáquio Daycare Centers last weekend. The festival was held in front of the Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Health and Peace.

Approximately 2,500 people passed through the venue. The audience consisted of 400 students from institutions in the Padre Eustáquio and Coqueiros neighborhoods, as well as the children's families and daycare staff.

The party lasted all day and featured stalls selling typical foods and games. The children's performances were held at the Padre Eustáquio Theater. Each class chose a song and created a choreography with the help of their teacher.

During the event, the King and Prince of Peanuts and the Queen and Princess of Popcorn were crowned for each daycare unit.

The Padre Eustáquio daycare centers arose from a dream of the Blessed Father Eustáquio to assist the children of the region and their families. Currently, the institutions are maintained through donations from the community, parents, and a partnership with the Municipality of Belo Horizonte.
