Campaign to restore broadcasts continues among devotees.

The campaign to help repair the transmission equipment for the Padre Eustáquio Channel continues to mobilize devotees. Many people have contributed what they can, speeding up the return of broadcasts.

In the first stage, the team from Ação Social Padre Eustáquio (ASPE), which runs the channel, took the damaged equipment to technical assistance centers. Burnt modems and routers were replaced by internet providers, and all the damaged cabling had to be replaced.

With the budgets defined, the fundraising phase for the repairs began. The camera control console has already been repaired and is back in operation. This week, the main transmission computer and several other components were also repaired, at a cost exceeding R$ 25 thousand.

Now, tests will be carried out on the audio interface, which has also undergone repairs. The expectation is that at least one of the three cameras still under maintenance will be ready in time to allow the transmission of the Holy Week celebrations, even if in a simpler format.

“We have received a lot of financial support, in addition to prayers. This shows how important the channel is for people in the mission of evangelizing,” thanked Father Vinicius Maciel, SSCC, president of ASPE.

The next step is to pay for the repair of the remaining cameras and the labor costs. Anyone wishing to contribute can make a donation via PIX: 17.193.756/0005-20.
