The Coronavirus pandemic and social isolation caused people to stay home more and distance themselves somewhat, physically, from churches. And at the Health and Peace Sanctuary it was no different.

To bridge this gap, Padre Eustáquio's store has made available another edition of the book "Pilgrim in the Sanctuary of Health and Peace – Memorial of Padre Eustáquio". The work is by Dom Luiz Mancilha Vilela, ss.cc, and has a preface by Dom Walmor Oliveira de Azevedo.

In the book, published in 2019 by the Vice-Postulation of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustace, it is possible to make a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary, going through four parts: The search for health and peace; entering the temple; visiting the memorial and finally, contemplating the stained glass windows that depict the life of Blessed Father Eustace.

The book features a collection of poetic and profound texts, accompanied by beautiful images of the Health and Peace Sanctuary. Surely, the reader will be able to lessen their longing to be at Father Eustáquio's Church.

Furthermore, it will be possible to learn a little about the Blessed One's history and follow important dates in his life. The book also includes photos of the Dutch priest's time in Belo Horizonte.
