Before the gates of the Padre Eustáquio Church opened in the capital of Minas Gerais, a crowd of young people waited in a long line for the start of registrations for the Encounter of Young People with Christ (EJC), which will be held in October. Meanwhile, thousands of people participated in Sunday's celebrations at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Blessed Padre Eustáquio, in Belo Horizonte.

The first Mass, at 7:00 AM, was attended by parishioners and visitors who came early to receive a blessing of Health and Peace. At 8:30 AM, the Eucharistic Celebration also included meditation on the 5th day of the Novena, as well as a tribute to catechists in celebration of their day.

In the morning, there was also a coffee break organized by the young people of the EJC (Youth Encounter with Christ), which further united the community with the visitors. At 10 am, 5 pm, and 7 pm, there was also the celebration of Holy Mass with meditation on the 5th day of the Novena. The last Mass of the day was presided over by Father Alexandre Campos Leite, SS.CC, parish vicar.

All the pastoral groups and movements participated in the celebrations, such as novenas, and welcomed devotees from various parts of the state and even the country. In the evening, the food stalls brought the festivities to a close with plenty of food, drink, and joy.
