The Spirituality Series of Father Eustáquio: Firm and unwavering trust in God.

This week, the National Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustace has selected some texts on the Spirituality of the Blessed. The aim is to show a little more about this side of the Blessed and to lead devotees to reflect on the themes, taking them as examples for our daily lives. For this Monday, we have chosen the theme "Firm and unwavering trust in God".

Blessed Father Eustace van Lieshout, as a man who lived by faith, based his entire life on the omnipotence of God and the charity of Christ. Paragraphs expressing this trust in God are frequently found in his writings.

His sister Faustina says in her testimony that this trust in God“It was one of his characteristics.”, ever since he was young. That's why, when one day his father told him: “Son, you can't keep up with your studies.”", his response was: "“I will do my best, and we should have greater faith in Our Lord. Things will get better.”.

This trust in the Lord was a characteristic of his. From a young age he was close to Our Lord. And things really always got better, as he used to say.
