IBrothers and sisters of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary participated in the National Youth Day – DNJ, held in the Pompeia neighborhood of Belo Horizonte. With the theme "Youth and Public Policies: a history calls us to the Civilization of Love," people from various parishes belonging to the Nossa Senhora da Piedade Episcopal Region spent the afternoon of last Sunday gathered at the Nossa Senhora das Dores School.
This year's National Youth Day (DNJ) had the motto: "I have come that they may have life..." (John 10:10) and among the activities, there were talks, workshops, praise and worship, in addition to the celebration of Holy Mass.
Through the "New Generations" group, composed of young religious members of the CRB – Conference of Religious of Brazil, those present at the event were able to visit stands representing Congregations, Institutes, Seminaries, Orders, Secular Institutes, and Communities of Life from all over the capital of Minas Gerais.
A group of religious from the Sacred Hearts set up the "Vocational Tent" to talk a little about the work of the Congregation and about the religious life of the brothers.
