This past weekend marked the end of another Assembly of the Province of the Sacred Hearts of Brazil, Paraguay region. The meeting was held at the Hotel Fazenda Retiro das Rosas, in Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais.
During the Assembly, brothers from various parts of Brazil and Paraguay gave their accounts, evaluated their work, and projected future perspectives for the Congregation. This assembly also decided on new mission locations for some brothers.
The current provincial, Father Osvânio Humberto Mariano, SSCC, announced the appointments of each brother who, starting this week, will begin to head towards their new missions, as is the case of Deacon Vanildo Lima Sena, SSCC, who is leaving Belo Horizonte-MG to take on a new job in the city of Pedra Azul, in the Jequitinhonha Valley region, Minas Gerais.
The other priests and brothers will assume other missions throughout February/March. The meeting is also an opportunity for fellowship among the brothers of the Congregation, who spent five days in retreat.
