A group of devotees from Poá (SP) carried out, this weekend, the fifth pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, Church of Blessed Father Eustáquio, in Belo Horizonte. The initiative has already become a tradition among the devotees of the city, who return to the place to strengthen their faith and devotion to the Missionary of Health and Peace.
At the Sanctuary, pilgrims participated in a moment of prayer and reflection at the Father Eustáquio Memorial, where the relics of the Blessed One are kept. The visit provided moments of emotion and spirituality, bringing devotees closer to the history and testimony of the Missionary of Health and Peace.
The group also visited the Padre Eustáquio Store, where they had contact with devotional materials related to the Blessed.
The pilgrimage took on an even more special meaning during the 10:00 AM Holy Mass, celebrated at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace by Father Reginaldo Martins, from Poá, who accompanied and guided the group during the trip.
The pilgrims actively participated in the celebration. A choir from Poá was responsible for the liturgical singing of the Mass, while the readings were performed by the couples who organize the Feast of Blessed Father Eustáquio in Poá, reinforcing the bonds of devotion between the community of São Paulo and the Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte.
The visit marked a weekend of fellowship, prayer, and spirituality, allowing devotees to learn more about places connected to the faith and history of Blessed Father Eustáquio and to strengthen the devotion that is also cultivated in Poá.
