The Parish Retreat took place last weekend and was based on the booklet "Communion, Participation and Mission – for a synodal church." This resource is offered by the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte to help parish communities develop their experiences together.

Approximately 25 people participated in the moments of prayer and communion that took place at the Vicente de Paulo Retreat House, belonging to the Congregation of the Brothers of Our Lady Mother of Mercy in Igarapé, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte.

This weekend's retreat is the beginning of a series of parish retreats on the theme of Synodality, which will be held by the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, based on the Archdiocese's guidelines. The next retreat is scheduled for August 5th and 6th and will include the Parish, Pastoral, and Administrative Councils, but is also open to all parishioners.
