Led by Father Silvano Dias de Ávila, SSCC, this year's Lenten retreat at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace was held in the right side aisle of the church, known as the side of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The reflective gathering brought together nearly a hundred people who spent the morning meditating on Lent.

The retreat was divided into several parts and included the collaboration of other brothers from the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, such as Father Edvaldo Carneiro and the postulants Douglas Santos, Antônio Carlos Silva, and Jefferson Freitas. During the morning of prayer, the participants were able to perceive Lent as a whole and better understand this favorable time in the Church.

Those who attended brought a snack to share with everyone at the Father Eustáquio Memorial. The gathering offered a new perspective on Lent in the hearts of many parishioners and visitors.
