Pilgrims from the Cristo Sol Nascente Parish made a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Blessed Father Eustáquio, in Belo Horizonte. The visit took place last Friday, on the occasion of the Jubilee of Hope.

The visitors were welcomed by historian and researcher of the Cause for Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, Leandro Castro. The researcher gave a guided tour of the Sanctuary, conceived by Father Eustáquio, a visit to the Memorial, and concluded the pilgrimage at the Museum.

Father Wagner Douglas, parish priest of Cristo Sol Nascente Parish, received a first-degree relic of Blessed Father Eustáquio from the Canonization Cause team. The priest led the pilgrims in the Jubilee prayer to the Memorial, where the mortal remains of the Blessed are located.
