The faith communities of the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte begin the Holy Week celebrations on March 28th with Palm Sunday. The Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte contributes with its prayers at home, with its family. To this end, it provides a guide for celebrating at home the Sunday commemorating Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, produced by Sister Penha Carpanedo, of the Congregation of the Disciples of the Divine Master (Liturgical Apostolate), editor of the Liturgy Magazine and member of the Celebra Network for liturgical animation.

With the celebration of Palm Sunday, we begin the great Holy Week, the heart of the liturgical year. This Sunday we remember Jesus' entry into the city of Jerusalem, sovereign, but riding on a donkey, clothed in our poverty, humble, unarmed, applauded by the people as savior.
