An engraving of Saint Joseph, which belonged to Blessed Father Eustace, was displayed in the small museum inside the Health and Peace Sanctuary, in commemoration of the month of the saint, the adoptive father of Jesus.
The engraving, which had long been kept in the archives of the Vice-Postulation of the Cause of Canonization, was one of the objects cleaned and cataloged earlier this month by the restoration team that worked on the archives of the Dutch priest. The image was framed and now forms part of the Museum with pieces of Father Eustáquio, located inside the Health and Peace Sanctuary.
Art has an important meaning: the scene depicts the death of Saint Joseph, who is in the arms of Jesus and Mary. This demonstrates Father Eustáquio's great devotion to him. This is because Joseph is ill and about to die. And, in the painting, he dies supported by his son and wife.
Father Eustáquio was a great devotee of Saint Joseph. When going to see the sick, he always turned to Saint Joseph, remembering that he died in the arms of Jesus and Mary.
This month, we invite devotees of Father Eustace to pray the prayer that the Blessed One himself composed to Saint Joseph. Click here And say this prayer, asking for the grace you wish to receive or for that person who needs it so much.
