Last Saturday, the Holy Mass for the installation of the new pastoral team responsible for the care of the Sanctuary of Health and Peace was held. The Eucharist was broadcast live on the Padre Eustáquio Channel (REVIEW HERE).

The ceremony was presided over by Dom Joaquim Mol, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte, who highlighted and thanked the team that is leaving their posts: Fr. Vinícius Maciel, Fr. Silvano Ávila, and Fr. Alexandre Leite.

Bishop Joaquim Mol also expressed his gratitude to God and to the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts for allowing the continuation of pastoral work at the Sanctuary, always inspired by the teachings of Pope Francis.

The incoming team consists of Father Edmar Oliveira, the new parish priest, and vicars Osvânio Mariano and Alexandre Leite (who was also part of the previous team).

In addition to the priests who took office as parish priests and vicars, Bishop Joaquim Mol also granted permission to use the order for Fathers Vinícius Maciel and Hilário França. The document allows them to also celebrate Mass at the Sanctuary and other churches in the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte.
