On the morning of Sunday, September 24th, a long line formed at the entrance of the Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte. Around 180 young people were waiting their turn to register for the Youth Encounter with Christ, which takes place in November at the Church of Blessed Father Eustáquio.

According to the organizers, some young people arrived at dawn to secure a spot at the Encounter. Reports indicate that those first in line arrived around 4:30 AM to try and get a place at the next meeting. By noon, the young people working at the Parish had registered each of them, but the number of available spots will certainly not be enough to accommodate everyone at the next meeting.

The first group will participate in this year's EJC, and the others will have their names registered to be called at the next meeting, which should take place in 2024.

The 10th Youth Encounter with Christ is scheduled for November 17th, 18th, and 19th, in the halls of the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Blessed Father Eustace. This is a highly anticipated event for all young people who wish to strengthen their faith and connect with Christ. This year, the theme of the encounter will be "He is the one who calls you by name," and it is expected to bring together approximately 70 young people.
