Midday masses are once again being held at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte.

This Tuesday, the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Father Eustáquio, resumed holding Holy Mass at 12 pm. The celebration had been suspended since the beginning of social restrictions due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Since yesterday, November 30th, the church has been holding three masses from Tuesday to Friday, at 7 am, 12 pm, and 7 pm. On the first day of the return of the midday celebration, many people who work near the Sanctuary or visitors passing by the temple took advantage of the moment to pray. The Holy Mass, presided over by Father Alexandre Campos Leite, ss.cc., commemorated the martyr of the day, Saint Andrew, and also celebrated Father Eustáquio because of the 30th. It is worth remembering that on Mondays there will be neither the 7 am nor the 12 pm celebration, with only one mass remaining on that day, the 7 pm mass.

Starting this week, the Padre Eustáquio Church will have new Mass times, allowing more people to attend services in person. See the new schedule for Masses celebrated at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace:

Sunday: 7am, 8:30am, 10am, 5pm and 7pm
Monday: 7pm
Tuesday to Friday: 7am, 12pm, 7pm
Saturday: 5pm

Due to the new schedule, the church will now be open all day, from 7:00 AM, when the first Mass of the day is celebrated, until 8:00 PM, when the last Mass of the day ends. Both Father Eustáquio's shop and the Parish Office will no longer close during lunchtime.
