Members of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts visit Brazil.

Father Jean-Blaise Mwanda (General Councilor) and Father Derek Laverty (Vice-Superior General) are on a canonical visit to the Brazil-Paraguay Province. They arrived in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday, October 15th, and are expected to remain until November 15th. Upon their arrival in the capital of Minas Gerais, the visitors were welcomed by brothers, sisters, lay people, and parishioners.
They have already visited the municipality of Catují, also in Minas Gerais, in addition to going to Dom Luiz Mancilha Vilela, ss.cc, Archbishop Emeritus of Vitória, in Espírito Santo.
During the canonical visit, Fr. Jean and Fr. Derek visited the Congregation's houses, learned about the work carried out in each one, and spoke with each brother.

At the end of this week, they will travel to Paraguay and are expected to stay there until November 8th.
