Hundreds of people participated this Wednesday in the closing events of the 15th anniversary of the Beatification of Father Eustáquio, both in person and virtually. The Holy Mass and the commemorative live stream brought devotees together to mark the date and moved the participants.

At 7 PM, the person responsible for the Cause of Canonization, Father Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc., presided over the Holy Mass, broadcast live from the Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte. The celebration was transmitted via the Padre Eustáquio Channel. (watch here), The priest spoke about the life of the Blessed One and the example of life and holiness he left behind.

Next, exclusively in the virtual environment, the National Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization presented a Special Program with music and prayer. Father Vinícius opened the event and invited Father Edmar Oliveira to lead the session. Following this, the "Amai-vos" Music Ministry sang and enchanted all those who watched the live stream. With traditional songs like "Utopia" by Father Zezinho, SCJ, and more contemporary songs like "Fiat (let it be done)" by Banda Dom, the group created moments of prayer through melody and prayerful lyrics. Rhaime, Lucas, João, and Felipe also sang supplications and hymns related to devotion to Father Eustáquio.
