The audiovisual production team of the National Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustace began recording the 2024 Lenten Retreat this week. This year, the reflections will be led by Father Vinicius Maciel, ss.cc.

The videos, approximately 5 minutes long, are being recorded in a studio set up on the premises of the Padre Eustáquio Church in Belo Horizonte. All the material is being produced, recorded, and edited by the same team that did the previous editions.

The initial reflections were recorded by the vice-postulator of the Cause for Canonization of Blessed Father Eustace and are currently being edited. “There is no greater proof of love,” the song used as the opening theme for the Lenten Retreat since 2022, appears this year with violin and guitar accompaniment.

The 40 videos will be posted starting next Wednesday (Ash Wednesday) and will continue until Palm Sunday, March 24th. Every day, starting at 5 AM, the episodes will be available on the Padre Eustáquio Channel so you can reflect and prepare well for Easter.
