The Holy Mass, celebrated by the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Father Eustáquio, Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC, concluded the 26th edition of the National Meeting of Senior Citizens (Dedo de Prosa da Melhor Idade). The event took place in São Lourenço, in the south of Minas Gerais.

More than 600 people participated in the meeting that began last Monday, October 23rd. The event was held at the Guanabara Hotel Convention Center and included moments of joy, learning, and lots of fun.

At the opening, Father Vinicius, accompanied by two members of the Baptist Church, offered an ecumenical prayer to begin the proceedings of this edition. Throughout the four days of the meeting, the Padre Eustáquio Store was present, promoting the Blessed and raising funds to support the social works inspired by him.

On Thursday, the last day of the event, Father Vinícius celebrated the closing mass, which moved the participants.

The next Dedo de Prosa meeting is scheduled for May 2024 and will be held in Caldas Novas, Goiás.
