The opening Mass for the Feast of Blessed Father Eustáquio 2025 was held today (August 20th) at the Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte.

In the entrance procession, representatives of the pastoral groups and movements linked to the Sanctuary entered carrying objects, images, or flags that symbolize the work they carry out at the Sanctuary.

The celebration was presided over by Dom Nivaldo dos Santos Ferreira, auxiliary bishop of Belo Horizonte, and concelebrated by the priests of the Sacred Hearts: Fr. Vinícius Maciel, vice-postulator of the Cause; Fr. Edmar Oliveira, rector of the Sanctuary; Fr. Wanderson de Souza Alves, vicar of the Sanctuary; Fr. Osvânio Mariano, provincial of the Congregation in Brazil; and Fr. Fernando Cordeiro, general counselor of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts (Rome).

During the celebration, the volunteers of the festival were sent forth, who, with faith and dedication, will serve in this great mission at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace.
