Last Sunday, as part of the Sacred Hearts Week festivities, the Sanctuary of Health and Peace welcomed Fr. Wanderson de Souza Alves, SSCC, for his first Eucharistic Celebration in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The Holy Mass was attended by members of the Sacred Hearts Brothers and representatives of parish movements and pastoral groups.

The celebration was broadcast on the Padre Eustáquio Channel on YouTube. REVIEW HERE. During the homily, Father Wanderson emphasized the importance of each person in parish life. He also highlighted the difficult work of those dedicated to church affairs.  “"Sometimes people wake up early, donate their time, and still have those who show up to crucify them."”

Brothers and sisters of the Congregation, including sisters from Peru and Chile who came to Brazil for visits, participated in the Eucharistic Celebration of the newly ordained priest. After the Holy Mass, Fr. Wanderson socialized with the parishioners at the coffee break and catechetical fair that took place at the Sanctuary.

Now, the new priest is heading to Patrocínio, where he will celebrate Mass this Tuesday evening, the 27th, at 7 pm.
