The day of prayers and tributes to those who have departed this life will be celebrated with four masses at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, Church of Blessed Father Eustáquio, in Belo Horizonte. On this day, the Church throughout the world prays for the salvation of souls and offers prayers for the friends and family of those who have died, asking for comfort for their hearts.

At noon (12hThe third mass will be celebrated, and the fourth celebration will be at 7pm, the latter being broadcast on our internet channel.

On the November 2nd holiday, many people take the opportunity to pay homage at the graves of their loved ones. The Padre Eustáquio Memorial, where the priest is buried, will be open all day, from 6:30 am to 8 pm. Another place frequently visited by devotees is the tomb in the Bonfim Cemetery, where Padre Eustáquio was buried shortly after his death in 1943. Although his remains are no longer there, the grave has become a meeting point for the faithful and devotees of the Missionary of Health and Peace. According to the Belo Horizonte city hall, the tomb is the most visited in the capital of Minas Gerais every year.
