Father Eustáquio's Church will also hold in-person Mass on Fridays.

Starting this week, the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, known as the Church of Father Eustáquio, will also hold in-person masses on Fridays. The idea is to offer more opportunities for the community to actively participate in church celebrations.

For these celebrations, the maximum number of people allowed inside the church will also be 200, due to the pandemic. And, from now on, access to weekday masses will be controlled at the church entrance on a first-come, first-served basis. Saturday and Sunday masses and special celebrations will still require tickets to be obtained.

Therefore, in-person masses at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace will now have the following schedule:

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays – 7pm (control at the entrance)
Saturdays - 6 PM (early collection of tickets)
Sundays – 7:30 am, 10:00 am, 6:00 pm (early collection of tickets)
– Every 30th of the month – 3 PM (early collection of tickets)
– First Fridays – 4 PM  (control at the entrance)
Holidays or special celebrations (early collection of tickets)

To participate in the celebrations in person, some recommendations must be followed:

We recommend that children and people over 60, as well as anyone with health restrictions, avoid in-person participation.;
Arrive early to allow for organization and entry to the venue;
– As a preventative measure, the temperature of worshippers will be checked. Those with a temperature of 37.8°C or higher will not be allowed to participate in the celebrations. Shoes must be disinfected and hands sanitized before entering. Please also bring your own hand sanitizer.;
– All worshippers must wear protective masks while inside the church;
– Upon entering, please occupy any available seats in order of arrival and maintain the indicated social distancing, even if you are with your family;
Communion will be distributed only in the hand. The priest and ministers will come to you.;
– During the Lord's Prayer, hands should not be held, and there will be no Sign of Peace;
Try to plan ahead so you don't have to use the restrooms;
– Bring your own water bottle as the water fountains are out of service;
– Follow the instructions of the volunteers, who are available to help;
– At the end of the service, wait for the people in the pews closest to the door to leave first, and so on until the last ones have left;
