The Padre Eustáquio Chapel in Caeté is in its final stages of construction.

A chapel built by devotees of Father Eustáquio in Caeté/MG, is in the finishing stages. The oratory is located in the Quintas da Serra neighborhood on private property that is also the residence and workshop of the religious art craftsman Joel Matias.

The idea to build the chapel arose from a promise made by the lawyer and former mayor of Caeté, Ademir Carvalho, who received a blessing through the intercession of Father Eustáquio. His son, Jair Costa Carvalho, had spotted fever, the same disease that ultimately proved fatal to the Blessed Father. After his parents, Ademir and Kátia, prayed, asking for the priest's intercession, Jair's health was restored.

The oratory, which will have a capacity for 80 people, will be named "Our Lady of the Annunciation and Blessed Father Eustace". Next Sunday, May 30th, there will be a Holy Mass celebrated by the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Father Eustace, Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC.
