Father Eustáquio Memorial: history in stained glass

The stained-glass windows of the Padre Eustáquio Memorial narrate the life and work of the Blessed. They were designed by the visual artist Maria Inês Asinelli, in Curitiba-PR. The scenes reproduce the themes of his spirituality: his love for the Eucharist, his care for the sick and needy, and his life of prayer. Furthermore, they depict events from his life such as the priest's arrival in Romaria, his death in his hospital bed, his exile at the São José Farm, and finally, his Beatification at the Mineirão stadium in Belo Horizonte.

The set of stained-glass windows, inspired by the Sermon on the Mount, creates a catechetical and reflective space. They combine the life of Blessed Father Eustace with biblical verses and embrace the Memorial, presenting to the devotees the great virtues of the kind priest.
