Father Edvaldo Carneiro, sscc, is ordained in Ferraz de Vasconcelos, São Paulo.

The ordination rite was performed during Holy Mass at Edvaldo's home parish, Santa Cruz e Santa Margarida d'Youville, in Ferraz de Vasconcelos, in Greater São Paulo. The ceremony, held on the morning of Saturday, April 2nd, was presided over by the diocesan bishop of Mogi das Cruzes, Dom Pedro Lluiz Stringhini, and was attended by family and friends of the new priest, who came from various parts of the country.

In one of the most moving moments of the celebration, the mother of the then-deacon, Dona Laura, entered alone carrying the priestly vestments, which were placed on the new priest by Fr. Paulo Dekker, ss.cc. and Fr. Edmar Oliveira, ss.cc.

The entire ceremony was broadcast on the Padre Eustáquio Channel (REVIEW HERE), a social network that Father Edvaldo himself helped to create. Brothers and Sisters from various parts of the world participated virtually and left their comments on the transmission link.
