The Catholic community in Águas Vermelhas, a municipality in the Jequitinhonha Valley, Minas Gerais, received the Pilgrim Relic of Blessed Father Eustáquio last weekend. Hundreds of people participated in the liturgical event that highlighted the life of the Blessed.

The Eucharistic Celebration with the reliquary was held at the Church of Our Lady of Aparecida, in the Campo Novo community. The location, which belongs to the Parish of Saint Sebastian, welcomed the relic, brought to the presbytery by Brother Tomaz, of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts (Spain).

During the Holy Mass, presided over by Father Vinícius Maciel, SS.CC, the faithful were moved and touched by the story of Blessed Father Eustáquio. At the end of the celebration, the residents were able to venerate and touch the relic of the Blessed, in a gesture of faith and devotion.
