Exhibition about Father Eustáquio in Poá is featured on TV Globo.

The exhibition “Getting to Know Father Eustáquio”, which opened on August 1st in Poá, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, has been attracting the attention of devotees and the press. This Wednesday, Diário TV, a regional news program on TV Diário, an affiliate of TV Globo, aired a 5-minute report about the exhibition.

The journalistic piece recounted the history of the Blessed One, highlighting the photos, objects, and clothing used by the priest that are on display in the city. One of the interviewees, Aparecida Rey, spoke about the crucifix that belonged to Father Eustáquio and which she inherited from her grandmother. The curator of the exhibition, Delcimar Ferreira, explained the exhibition and gave details about the material on display.

The exhibition “Getting to Know Father Eustáquio” can be visited at the headquarters of the Poá Culture Secretariat, in Praça da Bíblia, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 am to 7 pm. The exhibition is open to the public until August 30th, the date on which the Church liturgically commemorates Father Eustáquio. The initiative is a partnership between the Father Eustáquio Museum of Poá and the city's Culture Secretariat. Admission is free.
